Spices
- 5 parts-ish cardamom (real cardamom sounds more authentic, black cardamom does well enough for me)
- 1 part-ish cloves (1 clove)
- 1 part-ish ginger (powder)
- 1 part-ish cinnamon
- 1 part-ish black pepper (corn)
- optional: fennel, carom (like caraway), anise, nutmeg, allspice
Tea
- Black Tea (Darjeeling is a common recommendation)
Milk/Sweetener
- Condensed Milk (or milk & sugar?)
Boil the spices in water for a while (5 minutes). Steep the tea in the brew long enough that it would be bitter. Add condensed milk to taste.
